Bass Preamps On-Board

G-BP3, G-BP2

G-BP3 is an advanced, 3-band bass preamp that delivers impeccably clean, dynamic tone. We have used modern EQ filters G-PreAmps EQ, developed at GregoryPreamps, which allow for precise shaping of the sound without losing the instrument's tone.

The semiconductors used by us effectively reproduce the full dynamic range of the bass guitar, resulting in exceptional sound quality. The film capacitors used throughout the audio path offer better sonic properties compared to commonly used ceramic capacitors. The input stage is built on a low-noise JFET transistor in class A, which improves clarity and purity of sound, leading to faithful reproduction of the details and nuances of playing. The efficient filters and precise potentiometer adjustments provide full control over the sound, ensuring the preamp processes a clean sound that fits perfectly into the mix and allows the instrument to be clearly heard in the band.

The G-BP3 preamp stands out for its solid construction, with printed circuit boards made using ENIG technology (gold-plated PCBs), ensuring high quality and long-lasting reliability. Additionally, the use of a hermetic potting protects the electronics from the effects of moisture, significantly increasing its lifespan.

The G-BP3 is the ideal choice for bassists looking to elevate their sound quality and fully unleash the potential of their instrument on stage and in the studio.

The preamp model is available in three versions:

G-BP3 – 3-band, designed for use with passive pickups, provides boost/cut gain for bass 40Hz +/-18dB, treble 6.5kHz +/-18dB, middle 400Hz/600Hz/800Hz +/-12dB - frequencies switched via a microswitch inside the installation or a 3-position mini switch on the outside.
An additional micro switch engages a 5m Fender cable emulation mode, allowing for a change in the character of the pickup sound.
On request, there is an option for an additional adjustable Gain +10dB.

G-BP3A – 3-band version, designed for use with passive and active pickups, provides boost/cut gain for bass 40Hz +/-15dB, treble 6.5kHz +/-15dB, middle 400Hz/600Hz/800Hz +/-9dB - frequencies switched via a microswitch inside the installation or a 3-position mini switch on the outside.

G-BP2 – 2-band version, designed for use with passive pickups, provides boost/cut gain for bass 40Hz +/-18dB, treble 6.5kHz +/-18dB.
An additional micro switch engages a 5m Fender cable emulation mode, allowing for a change in the character of the pickup sound.
On request, there is an option for an additional adjustable Gain +10dB.

Input impedance: 1MΩ (ideal for use with various pickups).
Power supply: 9V/18V (18V adds +6dB Headroom).
Current consumption: 2mA-9V / 2.5mA-18V.
The dimensions of the preamp are 28mm x 33mm x 15mm.
